#EFSAExpo2015: Shaping the future of Food Safety, Milan 14-16 October 2015

The 14th of October 2015 in Milan is taking place the second EFSA scientific conference: 'Shaping the future of food safety, togheter', organised in collaboration and in occasion of the Expo 2015.

'The aim of the conference is ensuring that the food on the plates for our citizens is safe, nutritious and sustainability produced'.

The welcome is given by Mr. Bernhard Url, EFSA Excutive Director:

He says:
'Many future threats to the food chain will have in the future a transnational dimension and is important to bring togheter scientific minds from accross the globe over three days of conference'.

Togheter they wil help us to keep abreast of very latest scientist thinking alongside the full range of views on food safety, from decision makers tasked with protecting consumers, to producers, civil society groups and interested citizens, among others.'

The Italian ‎General Director at Ministry of Health , Mr. Giuseepe Ruocco together with high Europeans EC representatives, International scientists, more then 70 worldwide Delegations and 1500 participants, have been invited to bring their experiences and share their knowledges on food safety.

A Young Research Initiative has been designed for the 'emerging scientists 'from accross Europe: it's an opportunity of networking and showcase their work by poster session, says the EFSA ED.
